- If you haven’t done so yet, download the Google app from the App Store and launch it.
- Sign in to your Google account or create one.
- Click the Lens icon to the left of the microphone in the search bar.

- Click OK to allow Google access to the camera.
- Point your device’s camera at the item you want to find information about and tap the circle when it appears. In bad light, you can use the flash by pressing the lightning bolt button.
- To use Google Lens for your captured shots, tap the icon in the top right corner of your camera screen, then tap OK to grant access. After that, just select a photo.
How to disable Google Lens
- Open the Settings app.
- Select a Google app from the list below.
- Turn off the toggle next to the Camera.
- Click Photo and choose Never.
